A few fun reasons attendees came to the unconference...
- Gain new ideas
- I just love this idea!
- Learning from peers is often the best way to learn from others
- Making connections across the academic/public divide in librarianship
- Meet people!
- I'm really just here for the games!
- Who doesn't like to come to Syracuse in the winter?
- At regular conferences, it's really hard to stay awake during those Powerpoint Presentations. Here, I get to learn and share with a bunch of really interesting people.
- I really just wanted to see what an unconference was...
- I wanted to see what was out there on these topics, and hear much more from many more people.
- An unconference offers more time to share with many people like me.
- This is great! What a great way to learn from each other! I would like to see more of these events.
